2020 Buffalo County Fair Youth Exhibitors Meat Animal Direct Marketing

Looking to purchase local beef, pork, goat, lamb, or chicken? Due to the cancellation of the 2020 Buffalo County Fair, meat animal exhibitors are looking for other ways to sell their meat animal projects. Exhibitors who are in need will be direct marketing their livestock through this webpage.

Prospective individuals and businesses who are interested in buying should check the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension Buffalo County webpage and Facebook page as well as the Buffalo County Fair Association Facebook page. Once youth have completed the educational requirements and provided the necessary information, their photos and written description will be posted in those three locations. If interested in buying an animal, please email Rachel Hovey at rhovey@wisc.edu to be connected with that specific exhibitor. At that point, the negotiation is between the prospective buyer and exhibitor.

Buyers can expect to see animals up for purchasing beginning the week of June 22.
