2021 Buffalo County Horse Show is a Success

Buffalo and Pepin County 4-H and FFA youth had the perfect day for the 2021 Buffalo County Fair Horse and Gymkhana Show. Nine exhibitors from throughout Buffalo and Pepin Counties participated in the annual event at the Midnight Riders Arena in Mondovi on Saturday, July 17. The judge for the Horse Show was Pat Stevenson of Sparta. Exhibitors participated in events ranging from Halter to English Equitation to Trail classes. Judge, Pat Stevenson, provided constructive feedback of tactics for the young people to improve on for further competition. Award recipients are as follows:

Emma Sandberg, a Lucky 16 4-H member, helped demonstrate the pattern. Sandberg earned top honors that day as Grand Champion Overall.

Ava Goetting and Avery Bambenek worked together to create a team costume this year.
