The 2020 Buffalo County 4-H Countywide Service-Learning Project is to complete acts of intentional kindness for locally identified places, organizations and people in need. Julia Moats, a 9th grader and member of the Hilltop Climbers 4-H club, found a special way to continue her first 4-H Kindness 2.0 Project during the pandemic. Julia Moats used watercolor sprinkles on watercolor paper to make unique and one of a kind bookmarks. She then wrote simple inspirational words on the bookmarks. Julia covered each bookmark with several layers of a protective sealer. She then put them in several books at the Little Free Library at Mirror Lake in Mondovi, Wisconsin that she is responsible for clean and stocked for her 4-H club. Julia hopes that this 4-H Kindness service activity make someone’s day!
