4-H members were invited to the STEM and ARTS & CRAFTS 4-H mini camps to express their creativity in many different projects. STEM consists of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, that engages students to learn with hands on experiences. During the Arts & Crafts mini camp, students can explore their creative sides by using their imagination, learn about the elements of art, and create one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Check out some of the activities and creations below from local 4-H youth members.
David Nyre, Lucky 16 4-H, Grade 6, Took on the STEM 4-H mini camp program. This gets students involved with many different important subjects such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Marli Meier, Lucky 16 4-H, Grade 3, creates signs, paintings and snowflakes to demonstrate her creativity within the 4-H Mini Camp-Arts and Crafts.
