Alma students are ready to work with younger youth

Three students who just completed sixth grade at Alma Area Schools completed a hybrid in-person and virtual child care clinic on June 28.  Students learned about child development, how to care for children, making responsible decisions, leadership, safety and prevention strategies, and fundamental business practices. The three day course was instructed by UW-Madison Division of Extension Buffalo County faculty educators, Mary Wood and Annie Lisowski.
