Berg is 2022 4-H Volunteer of the Year

Angela Berg was awarded the 2022 4‑H Volunteer of the Year Award at the Buffalo County 4-H Leaders Meeting on January 15, 2023. The Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes a 4-H Leader who has gone “above and beyond” their 4-H responsibilities, has performed an excellent job as a 4-H leader on the club or county level, and provides outstanding support, guidance, and leadership to 4-H members.

Angela was selected as the 4-H Volunteer of the Year for her dedication to Buffalo County 4-H and the Glencoe Hustlers 4-H club for many years. Foremost, Berg is the organizational leader of her 4-H club ensuring youth have opportunities to engage in 4-H service-learning, 4-H project leadership, and 4-H travel experiences. The Glencoe Hustlers 4-H club was an active club through the pandemic, finding ways to meet when others could not, due in large part to Berg’s leadership and dedication to her 4-H members and families. In addition, Berg has served as the Buffalo County 4-H Leaders Association President and is actively involved in county decision making processes.

The Buffalo County 4-H Leaders’ Association is very proud to honor Angela Berg as the 2022 award recipient of the 4-H Volunteer of the Year Award.
