Buffalo County YQCA and Livestock Clinic

Open to all Buffalo and Pepin County youth exhibitors in 4-H and FFA.

All youth animal exhibitors (except cats and dogs) must complete the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) training each year in order to show at the Buffalo County Fair. Meat animal exhibitors must also attend at least one approved educational event to participate in the meat animal sale. This training opportunity will allow youth to complete YQCA and an additional livestock credit at the same time.

Registration is required by June 7, 2021. Those not registered will not be able to participate.

Thank you for understanding and completing both forms despite some duplication.

Only one adult is allowed to participate with each youth exhibitor in these trainings. An adult is not required to attend with the youth.

IMPORTANT: All COVID-19 protocols will be followed at this event. Do not participate in the event if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or you have had close contact to someone who has tested positive in the last 14 days. UW-Madison Division of Extension faculty, staff and volunteers may require that program participants leave a program, based on health concerns associated with COVID-19. Any individuals experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19, have had known contact with anyone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, or are awaiting COVID-19 testing results should not and cannot participate in this event.
