Cheerful Workers 4-H Club met Sunday, April 3 at the Lyster Parish Hall. We had our monthly business meeting where we discussed old and new business. We went through information on the county website with upcoming 4-H . Bailey Weisenbeck and Emma Myren shared their experiences of being part of the Buffalo/Pepin County Teen Court program. They encouraged younger members to check this opportunity out when they reach high school.
We ended the meeting with a demonstration on chemical reactions through creating slime by Hallie Weisenbeck with help from her sister Bailey Weisenbeck. The Weisenbeck family checked out the STEM Discovery Toolkit from Division of Extension and Buffalo County 4-H. 4-H members that wanted to also got to experience the slime making and tried making bubbles with the STEM Discovery Toolkit materials.
