Cheerful Workers 4-H meets on May Day

Cheerful Workers 4-H club  held their May meeting on Sunday, May 1st. 4-H members made plans to do roadside pickup, but rainy weather changed their plans. Instead, 4-H youth leaders conducted a business meeting and Mareesa Rehberg presented a demonstration on String Pull Acrylic Pour Painting. She used small 8×8 canvas, yarn, and a variety of acrylic paint. 4-H members were given the opportunity to create a string pull art piece to give to their loved ones for Mother’s Day. Youth and adults also used hairdryers to speed up the drying process and complete their 4-H Arts Project work. Each 4-H member went home with a piece of art using this string pull technique.
