Sixth Grade Battle Bots STEM Challenge at C-FC

On January 20th, Mr. Holt’s sixth grade students at Cochrane-Fountain City school participated a critical thinking pilot robot engineering challenge. Students worked to design their own armor for their battle bots using makerspace materials, iPads, and mini sphero robots. UW-Madison Division of Extension in Buffalo County is looking to hire 4-6 college students to work with young people in their summer programs in 2023! The 4-H Afterschool Summer Program (Fountain City, WI) and the Mondovi Community Youth Center (Mondovi, WI) are full-day, out-of-school time programs that care for ~40 youth onsite daily.
