DeWitt joins Division of Extension staff as 4-H program assistant

Hi, my name is Paige DeWitt.  I grew up in Gilmanton, Wisconsin, raising beef cattle with my family on our farm.  I currently am a Senior at UW-River Falls studying Agriculture Business.  Some things I enjoy doing in my free time would be, working with my beef cattle, playing volleyball, getting involved in activities on campus like the AgBusiness Leadership Program, as well as camping with my family.  I am very excited that I get to work with UW-Madison Division of Extension Buffalo County. I’m looking forward to getting to know new people, in some form even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The UW-Madison Division of Extension Buffalo County office welcomes Paige DeWitt into a newly created role as Buffalo County 4-H Program Assistant. DeWitt will be responsible for supporting the 4-H community club program across the county. DeWitt will be working two days a week to communicate with the hundreds of 4-H members, youth leaders, and volunteers enrolled in the Buffalo County 4-H program. In her part time role, she will also help manage service-learning, 4-H project and fundraising programs in coordination with the 4-H Youth Development Educator. DeWitt is currently a Senior at UW-River Falls studying Agriculture Business and is a Gilmanton native. She is eager to meet new stakeholders and contribute to the mission of UW-Madison Division of Extension. DeWitt’s first day was February 1, 2021.
