Mental Health is predicted to be the fourth wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic, This free Mental Health First Aid training provides an opportunity for individuals to help in a community member’s mental health crisis
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. Through the ROTA SAMHSA WiROSE grant, the Division of Extension Health and Well-Being Institute is providing Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainings virtually across the state January through March 2021. Extension colleagues, adult volunteers and adults in the general public are invited to register for these two trainings.
