The Hilltop Climber’s 4-H members met at Central Lutheran Church on Sunday, December 9th, at 3pm. We assembled Christmas ornaments and packed food for the backpack program. The officers wrapped the gifts for the Wish Tree.The meeting was then called to order. The reports were read and approved. Old Business: We welcomed the new members. A thank you was said to everyone who has taken up the cans to recycling. Clover College had a slime lab, they made six different kinds of slime. Check your email for recipes. For the National 4-H Week, we received 2nd place for one of our lawn signs. Michelle and Julia Moats went to the Wisconsin Leaders Council Fall Forum, they shared information with us. Be sure your dues are paid to the treasurer. Congrats to the 2019 4-H Trip Winners Josh Linse: American Spirit, Julia Moats: 4-H Youth Conference, Alison George: Space Camp. Congrats to the 2018 Buffalo County Community Servant award winner, Michelle Moats. Patty will pick up the candy bars at the leaders meeting on January 20th, she would like to get them to members asap. Festival of Arts is Sunday, February 10 at Alma School. Please register by January 15. There was a discussion about a January Fun Day. There was also discussion about making Valentine cookies as a service project for the February meeting. The meeting was adjourned and we did not have any demonstrations. We then went to the American Lutheran Home to sing Christmas carols. Afterwards we came back to the Central Lutheran Church to enjoy our potluck. Our next meeting with be Sunday, February 10 at 4:00 pm at the Marten Center.
