January Enjoy the Outdoors 4-H Project Challenge

Buffalo County 4-H is inviting 4-H members and their families during the month of January to take part in our Enjoy the Outdoors 4-H Project Challenge!

The purpose of the 4-H Project Challenge is to practice 4-H project skills at home, engage in 4-H learning with family members and have a little fun sharing your 4-H project work!

For the month of January there are 2 different categories. 4-H members can submit one entry in each of the two categories. Please make separate submission for each category.

  1. STEAM – Show us any way that you’re developing STEAM skills outside! Some ideas might be a snow sculpture or snow fort, you may try painting with snow or get outside and draw a winter scene. Any activity that incorporates science, engineering and/or arts and environmental education counts!

  2. Silent Sports –  We want to see how you’re practicing your skills outdoors this January. Think ice fishing, shooting sports, skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, or trapping. Any physical activity that gets you outside engaging in environmental education counts!

In order to participate you simply need to submit your photo of your finished 4-H entry and other required information via our Google Form (https://forms.gle/aWDEcsz35gz3KpGD7) by January 31, 2021. We will be sharing photos on our web page and social media as they are submitted.

There may be gift cards awarded to those who are the challenge winners!

The February 4-H Project Challenge will be focused on arts and music!
