Lookout Legends 4-H Club

The Lookout Legends 4-H Club held their monthly meeting on Sunday May 20, 2019 following the meeting the members decorated cookies and put them in boxes to be distributed to all staff of the Gilmanton School District as part of their clubs random act of kindness in the county.  On the back of the boxes we a note that said “We appreciate all you do.”  The staff at the Glimanton School District were very appreciative of their random act of kindness.  Some of the 4-H members even received hugs from the teachers while passing out the cookies.

Clover 4-H Club

Clover 4-H Club has also been busy with random acts of kindness in Buffalo County.  The club decorated cookies at the their April meeting and then delivered the cookies to the staff at the Alma Area School and business in the Alma area.  The businesses were very surprised by the kind gesture and even offered donations to the Buffalo County 4-H Program. Clover 4-H didn’t stop there at their May meeting the club decided to combine the 2019 Buffalo County Service Learning Program with the Alma WI Kindness Rock project. The members painting kind words or made creative decorations on over 30 kindness rocks.  The rocks were than hid in Alma and at the surrounding parks to brighten the day for people who find the rocks.  Once the rock is found the person is to snap a picture of the rock and share it to  the Alma WI Kindness Rock project Facebook page.  The rock is then be be shared, kept, or hid again for someone else to find.
