Leadership training for coalition young people discusses human dignity

The Buffalo County Partnership Council hosted a special leadership training for high school students who are part of the local prevention coalition. The training was conducted by Fierce Freedom, Inc. and was an advanced continuation of their presentation to 10th grade students on the impacts of human trafficking in our local communities. The training encouraged students to discuss risky scenarios that might lead to exploitation, consider the impact of thinking of people as objects, and problem solve what they might do if they thought a peer was in an unhealthy relationship. Students are encouraged to share what they learned and practiced in their schools which included Mondovi, Cochrane-Fountain City, Alma, and Gilmanton.
