Looking for an adult to help kids after school

The Mondovi Community Youth Center is looking to hire a responsible adult (age 21 or older) to help support elementary students after school.

An immediate need is to find an individual to provide support to students on Wednesdays from 3:15pm-5:30pm, but the MCYC Board of Directors is also looking for a permanent individual to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm.

A qualified individual can receive $15-$20 per hour starting wage.

Currently, there is 12 elementary students and 2 high school staff assisting. This adult’s primary role would be to take the lead in case of an emergency.

Duties of the position include:

1. Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of daily after school youth programming.

2. Lead and support students as they participate in learning experiences and activities.

3. Monitor students to ensure compliance with program risk management rules and prevent

accidents.

4. Clean, maintain and ensure proper use of program facilities and materials.

5. Report and record details of incidents to appropriate stakeholders.

6. Follow program emergency procedures.

7. Enforce program rules and expectations.

A clear criminal background check is required.
