Mondovi students can care effectively for children after child care clinic

Eleven students from Mondovi schools participated in the four-day Child Care Clinic taught by UW-Madison Division of Extension Buffalo County faculty educators, Mary Wood and Annie Lisowski.  In training to be effective sitters, youth learned about child development, how to care for children, making responsible decisions, leadership, safety and prevention strategies, and fundamental business practices. Youth will receive their certification cards that illustrates they participated in all twelve course hours, developed first aid skills, and successfully completed a child observation on July 8.
