New Chairs Elected for Buffalo County Partnership Council

A new youth Chair and Vice Chair was elected at the Buffalo County Partnership Council (BCPC) meeting on Friday, September 20, 2019. Casey Denk of Mondovi High School will lead the coalition as Chair for the 2019-2020 academic year and Emma Brecka of Alma High School will serve as the Vice Chair. Cochrane-Fountain City students will serve as the Secretary and Lana Rieck, Alma School Counselor is the new Treasurer. BCPC is currently working on several small grants for vaping prevention, opioid and meth awareness and mental health. The coalition will work in collaboration with youth, schools, law enforcement, UW-Madsion Division of Extension, Public Health and Human services to implement learning events for students, parents and community members across Buffalo County. Buffalo County Partnership Council is a youth-adult partnership that works to provide prevention education and resources to students, parents and community members.
