The 4-H Community Servant for 2022 is one of our own

Morgan Guenther of Gilmanton, and former member of Lookout Legends 4-H club was awarded the annual 2022 Buffalo County 4-H Community Servant Award on Sunday, January 15, 2023. The award recognizes an individual with exemplary service to 4-H and the community through an ongoing commitment to community service and to making a positive impact on the community. Guenther was nominated for this salute to excellence for her leadership and service to 4-H and the broader community.

Morgan Guenther served as the 2022 Buffalo County 4-H Summer Intern and in her role went above and beyond to serve 4-H members and their families. Morgan used her experience as a camp counselor to co-direct 4-H Camp Kinnissippewa, spent free time to design service projects to honor her 4-H experience and a legendary educator, and ensured the success of the Buffalo County Fair food stand fundraiser. She is an ultimate role model for young people and her peers. Beyond 4-H, Guenther has been an integral pat of her hometown community and her campus community at UW-Whitewater. Guenther has supported the Gilmanton Free Fair, served as mentor for FBLA youth leaders on the state level as a college student, and worked as student employee.

Morgan Guenther truly embodies what it means to be a community servant through 4-H and the larger community. The 4-H Community Servant Award is provided on behalf of the Buffalo County 4‑H Leaders Association and the Wisconsin 4‑H Foundation through the generous support of their donors.
