Event: Ignite Action Program + 2024 Ignite Conference

Grades: Ages 14-19 (from Ignite site)

Number of participants: 2-4 youth participants, 2 adult advisors

Location: Community locations will vary; Conference–The Westin Washington, DC Downtown Hotel

Dates: Local work begins January, 2024; Conference–March 13-17, 2024; ALP completion–June 30, 2024.

Program length: Approximately five months; Conference spans five days, four nights

Anticipated cost: Conference–$1150 per youth (double occupancy youth), $1150-1600 (single vs double occupancy adult) + airfare and transportation

• The Wisconsin 4-H state programming budget will invest approximately $1000 per youth participant and adult advisor. The remaining cost + travel will need to be covered by the county program and/or participants.

How to apply: An application process will open on November 15. All applications should be received no later than December 15. Only one county team will be accepted: Counties will be notified about their status by December 20, 2023.
