2025 Gather & Grow Leaders’ Social & Meeting

We held our Gather & Grow 4-H Leaders’ Social and Meeting on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Walker’s Silver Moon. This event brought together new and returning 4-H leaders to connect, celebrate, and build community.

Attendees enjoyed pizza and beverages, followed by an engaging, interactive leadership training led by Deanna Wiersgalla.

We had over 40 members, leaders, and volunteers attend, making the event a great success and a strong kickoff for continued leader development in Buffalo County 4-H.

The interactive personality training led by Deanna Wiersgalla emphasized that strong teams thrive when all personality types are valued. Each person brings unique strengths, perspectives, and abilities, and together these differences create more effective and well-rounded 4-H clubs. Leaders and members engaged in thoughtful, lively discussion throughout the session.

We also had the special honor of recognizing Kathryn Noll, longtime leader of the Clover 4-H Club, who received her Diamond Clover Award for 40 years of service. Kathy’s dedication has shaped the lives of countless young people, families, and fellow leaders across generations. Her steady leadership, warm encouragement, and unwavering commitment reflect the true heart of Buffalo County 4-H. It was meaningful to celebrate her legacy among the very community she has poured so deeply into.

Kathryn Noll was honored with her Diamond Award, presented by 4-H Leaders’ Association President Ashley Ellis.
