The UW Labs service is available to serve you with your diagnostic needs regarding plant disease, insect identification, turf health issues and soil testing.
Plant Disease Diagnostics
For plant disease diagnosis contact the UW Plant Disease Diagnostics Clinic at ppdc@wisc.edu. A diagnosis can often be made with a digital image. There is a fee for this service.
Insect Identification
For insect identification, physical samples or photos can be submitted to the UW Insect Diagnostic Lab. There is no fee for this service.
Turf Health
The UW Turfgrass Diagnostic Lab provides fast and accurate diagnostic information and management recommendations for all turf health issues. There is a fee for this service.
Soil Sample Testing
For Soil Sample testing, the UW Soil and Forage Lab provides information and testing of soil. Soil testing fees vary depending on what services are needed.
