4-H Horse exhibitors showcase their skills at Buffalo County Fair show

Buffalo County 4-H horse project members showcased their showmanship and equitation skills at the 2025 Buffalo County 4-H Horse Show on July 27, 2025 at the Double H Arena in Mondovi, WI. The 4-H Horse Show is the culminating event of the 4-H year as well as the exhibition show for the Buffalo County Fair. Youth exhibitors receive premiums and ribbons for their participation. 4-H and FFA exhibitors included Marli Meier, Emma Pronschinske, Alison George, Ava Goetting, Avery Marten and Korbyn Johnvin.

The results of the Buffalo County 4-H Horse Show were as follows:

Halter Champion and Reserve: Ava Goetting, Hill & Hollow Helping Hands 4-H and Marli Meier, Lucky 16 4-H.

Showmanship Champion and Reserve: Alison George, Hilltop Climbers 4-H and Marli Meier, Lucky 16 4-H.

English Equitation Champion and Reserve Alison George, Hilltop Climbers 4-H and Korbyn Johnvin, Mondovi FFA.

English Pleasure Champion and Reserve: Alison George, Hilltop Climbers 4-H and Korbyn Johnvin, Mondovi FFA.

Hunter Hack Champion Grades 9 & over: Alison George, Hilltop Climbers 4-H.

Hunter Hack Champion Grades 8 & under: Korbyn Johnvin, Mondovi FFA.

Stock Seat Equitation Champion: Alison George, Hilltop Climbers 4-H and Marli Meier, Lucky 16 4-H.

Western Pleasure Champion and Reserve: Ava Goetting, Hill & Hollow Helping Hands 4-H and Korbyn Johnvin, Mondovi FFA.

Trail Champions: Alison George, Hilltop Climbers 4-H (Senior); Korbyn Johnvin, Mondovi FFA, (Intermediate)

Pleasure Show Grand Champion and Reserve Overall: Alison George, Hilltop Climbers 4-H and Korbyn Johnvin, Mondovi FFA.

Gymkhana Champion and Reserve: Korbyn Johnvin, Mondovi FFA  and Emma Pronschinske, Montana Pioneers 4-H.

The Best-Groomed Equine recognition was awarded to Marli Meier.
