4-H Records are an important tool for recording your 4-H experiences. It gives 4-H members an opportunity to reflect over the past year’s activities and to realize just how much they have done and more importantly, just how much they have learned.
For the younger members, there are special 4-H Record Books for them to complete:

4-H Cloverbud and Explorer Records will be evaluated using a form similar to this one: Cloverbud & Explorer Record Book Evaluation
4-H RECORDS CRITERIA:
All 4-H Records in Buffalo County 4-H will include the following in an appropriate format for type of record completed:
- 4-H Member Resume
- Evidence of Goal Setting
- Financial Records
- Reflections
- Written & Visual Component
- Evidence of Effort
- Self-Evaluation
4-H Records will be evaluated using a form similar to this one: 2024 4-H Record Evaluation
4-H RECORD FORMS:
All traditional/contemporary 4-H Record Books in Buffalo County 4-H MUST include forms in the following order. All NEW formats MAY use these forms in their 4-H Records to help guide reflection. Beginner forms are recommended for grades 3-8 and Advanced forms are recommended for grades 9-12. 4-H members in grades 9-12 can choose to use either the Beginner or the Advanced form.
