The Golden Hornets 4-H Club held a Christmas party and potluck on December 7th, where members made Christmas ornament crafts and enjoyed games such as Pictionary and bingo. Members also purchased gifts for local Giving Tree donations, giving back to the communities we live in. The club reimbursed each family for their donations.

In addition, the youth took on a service project to refurbish the Nativity scene (13 pieces) displayed at St. Boniface in Waumandee during the Christmas season. This Nativity set was created by past Golden Hornets 4‑H members, making it especially meaningful for our club to restore it. Members demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and responsibility while preserving a piece of local 4‑H history and serving the community. A photo of the refurbished scene and participating members is attached.
Golden Hornets 4-H Club also held its first meeting of the year on February 15th. Before the meeting, we painted canvases with Sylvia at Back Yard Brushes in Fountain City. Some members might enter their paintings in the Fair. After the meeting, we had pizza from JP’s.
