Our Lakefront Explorers program was a wonderful success, giving young people a full afternoon of outdoor adventure on Lake Winona. Participants had the chance to liberty boat, paddleboard, kayak, and canoe, experiencing the lake from different perspectives while building confidence on the water.
Throughout the day, youth learned important skills such as basic paddling techniques and how to navigate and balance on different types of watercraft.
One of the highlights of the program was the opportunity for participants to meet new friends from across the area. Young people connected with one another, shared laughs, encouraged their peers, and enjoyed being part of a supportive and active outdoor community.
It was a joy to see so many youth engaged, learning, and having fun. We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this memorable day at Lake Winona.
