Over 50 youth along with their families from Buffalo, Pepin, and Pierce counties attended the Livestock Showmanship Clinic that was held at the George Family Farm near Mondovi on the evening of Sunday, July 20, 2025. The interactive workshop taught youth basic showmanship skills and techniques for showing beef, sheep, swine and goats. Youth leader Alison George taught and led the workshop demonstrating proper attire, showmanship techniques and handling of the animals. Attendees learned tips on preparing their animals for the fair. The highlight of many youth who attended was the hands-on practice of the skills that were taught with the different animals at the workshop.
