Hilltop Climbers had their Season of Giving meeting on Sunday, December 14, at Club 10 Bowling Alley. Bella led the meeting. Some things that were discussed were that the Hilltop Climbers had the most members at the Buffalo County Leaders meeting social. Members and leaders learned about what type of personality/leader they were and why all the different types are important to a club. We also discussed potential changes in the Festival of the Arts. We ended the meeting making snack bags for kids in the backpack program, along with ornaments for each kid. 4-H members donated items for the food pantry. We also stuffed stockings for the “sock your neighbor” activity (leave a stocking full of fun treats/small things on your neighbor’s doorstep, and then they empty the stocking and do it to someone else-it keeps going until Christmas Eve). After the meeting, we went bowling and had pizza.
