We are excited to welcome Payton Freund to the Buffalo County 4-H team as our new 4-H Program Outreach Associate!
Payton brings a strong background in 4-H and youth development, with over a decade of involvement in the program. Payton has participated in 4-H as a youth member, served as a volunteer, and contributed as a Wisconsin 4-H AmeriCorps member in both St. Croix and Pepin Counties. This wide range of experience brings valuable perspective and passion to the role.
Payton is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, earning a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Teaching and History. Payton is excited to connect with youth, families, and volunteers throughout Buffalo County and continue building strong, engaging 4-H programming.
Outside of work, Payton enjoys reading, playing card and board games, working with cattle, and spending time with family and friends.
