Earth Day Event at YMCA CAMP PEPIN

Pepin County Land Conservation hosted a successful Earth Day educational event for junior high students at YMCA Camp Pepin, providing hands-on learning opportunities for young people.

The event welcomed approximately 160 students from Pepin County schools, offering them the chance to explore conservation concepts through interactive, outdoor activities.

As part of the event, the 4-H learning station featured a Recycling Minute to Win It game. This station was supported through collaboration between Pepin County and Buffalo County 4-H staff, who worked together to facilitate the activity.

The Earth Day event highlighted the value of community partnerships and cross-county collaboration in providing meaningful educational experiences for youth.
