Buffalo County 4-H is Thriving! – 4-H Thriving Survey Results

Each measure of the 4-H Thriving Model was assessed on a scale of 1.0-7.0 with a survey of more than 50 Buffalo County 4-H members in grades 8-12 in October 2024. A score of 5 or more indicates a high thriving score, while a score of 6 or more illustrates a very high thriving score.

Youth who participate in 4-H programs that provide a high-quality developmental context will thrive, and thriving youth achieve key developmental outcomes.

4-H supports youth in thriving by creating a positive, engaging space and hands-on learning opportunities for youth, and the building blocks for a strong future.

By engaging youth in quality learning opportunities that interest them with positive adult leaders, role models, and mentors, youth will thrive long into the future.
