Since 2021, Buffalo County 4-H youth leaders have completed the national, validated 4-H Thrive Survey that measures the program quality of 4-H programs. In late 2023, 41 young people, which represents a little under half of the eligible older youth, completed the survey. For the third year in a row, Buffalo County 4-H has measured outstanding in nearly all areas of program quality, thriving, and developmental outcomes. A five or higher indicates a positive thriving score, while a six or higher on the seven point scale indicates outstanding program quality. Buffalo County 4-H and it’s members are certainly thriving!
