4-H Livestock Showmanship Clinic

The 4-H Showmanship Clinic is being hosted by the Doug and Patty George family at their farm. The clinic will include information about how to exhibit sheep, beef, swine, and goats in the ring as well as how to prepare them for the show. Youth must be members of a Buffalo or Pepin County youth group.  Non 4-H participants  will need to sign the Agreement for Assumption of Risk form upon arriving at the event.

Time: 6:00 pm

Where: George Family Farm, N5932 Albany O, Mondovi, WI 54755

Who: Youth who just completed 3rd grade through 1 year past High School

Youth that are not enrolled 4-H members must be accompanied by an adult that will provide custodial care.  Adults are encouraged to attend with 4-H members as well.

Hands on interactive training is available, appropriate footwear is required to participate.  No sandals or open toed shoes allowed.

Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.  

Fulfill the Meat Animal Educational Credit as you have fun learning showmanship skills and much more.
