The Montana Pioneers 4-H club met on Sunday, February 9th, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Kaylee Schultz called the meeting to order and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H pledge. Raelynn Bork took roll call and asked members about their favorite Valentine’s candy.
Kaylee Schultz read the minutes from the previous meeting, followed by Finley Ellis presenting the treasurer’s report. Ashley Ellis discussed our fair animal checklist and upcoming YQCA trainings. We will be taking orders for new T-shirts this year. Ashley Ellis and Gennah Bremer also talked about 4-H Camp Kinnissippewa.
The Buffalo County Fair Association announced that this year’s fair theme is “Summer’s Mane Attraction,” scheduled for July 31- August 3, 2025. As a club, we are planning a community service project this spring to make and deliver sack lunches to local farmers. Gennah Bremer will compile a list of farmers, and we will finalize the date and delivery details at our April meeting.
Gavin Kaltenberg gave a demonstration on how to size your boot to your ski. Harvey Pronschinske’s family provided snacks for the club. Our next meeting will be on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Montana Town Hall.
